The Advanced Chassis and Active Support band on the outer foot support our feet and ankles in dodgy terrain while the Contragrip outsoles feature chevron-shape lugs for great traction on soft and loose surfaces, such as mud, snow, scree, and desert crust. We also like the women-specific fit and the wide size which gives us more room in the toe box and forefoot for added comfort, especially when our feet swell on long day hikes and backpacking trips.
